Parallel Processing

Conventional tissue processors often run only overnight, as they use a single protocol regardless of type and thickness of the specimens. This has a massive impact on workflow and turnaround time. With LOGOS One EVO, urgent specimens, often small biopsies, can be processed throughout daily cycles, either using the automated or dual run capabilities. This process allows the operator to sequentially move the rack, after the cycle, into the second retort, freeing the first one for another rack, thus optimizing the laboratory routine and the operator time.
The presence of a dedicated wax retort eliminates the need for cleaning cycles, as it eradicates the requirement to constantly pump wax in and out and engage in time-consuming cleaning procedures.

LOGOS One EVO ensures a reliable approach to biospecimen processing as it utilizes up-to-date technology to expedite and simplify the process without compromising quality.
The entire system is designed to ensure a safe procedure for the operator and optimal protection for the specimen, achieved through the implementation of xylene-free protocols.
LOGOS One EVO reduces the risk of water contamination and carry-over via two separate manifolds, which handle water-based and alcohol-based solutions. This feature extends the lifetime of the reagents whilst securing the preservation of the specimens.

The LOGOS One EVO reagent control system simplifies the operator’s work and prevents errors. Replacement of the tanks is smooth and safe, as the system operates with commercial 1 gallon or 5 liters tanks, avoiding the decanting of reagents and resulting in quick replacement. The use of dedicated connectors and the scanning of reagents’ barcodes (optional) ensure an error-free and tracked process. The LOGOS One EVO substantially minimizes the use of reagents and allows for the use of green solutions. Milestone MileONE and MileTWO are valid alternatives for the dehydration and clearing of fatty tissues, enhancing operator safety, and offering a more environmentally friendly approach.

A smart, icon-driven software guides the user through the entire protocol, enabling operators to effortlessly navigate and select the correct processing parameters.
For routine operations, favorite protocols are quickly selected and started, allowing the user to save time during protocol configuration and enhancing the efficiency of the operational workflow.
All parameters, reagents, and cassette information is collected for complete documentation. An automatic pre-start check ensures the proper status of the system prior to processing.
